Dallis Brown '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi! 

I'm Dallis Brown, graduating class of 2022 from Northwest High School in Justin, TX.  I started playing soccer at the age of six for a recreational league in Fort Worth, TX.  I did one season of Bantam Football as QB and played Basketball every winter through Freshman year, but being on the pitch with a ball at my feet was, and is, home for me.  

My father passed unexpectedly when I was nine and the next two years were a huge struggle.  Soccer was my place of peace.  It was my therapy. I've come a long way since then, and after nine years of playing for Rec leagues and school I decided it was time to step up.  I am now a starting Wing/Forward for an '01 Boys team with Fever United and a Starting Wing for NHS Texan FC (High School) Varsity team as a Sophomore. 

Something I am really excited about and proud of is being an Assistant Coach for my little brother's 09B Select team. I have been working with his Head Coach for a couple of years now and have started coaching education to prepare for getting my coaching license.  It's a great feeling to know the boys look up to me both as a coach and kind of a big brother. They inspire me to do better and play better and I've learned a whole different side of the game I never would have learned as a player.

Aside from Soccer, I have a deep love of animals and the ocean.  I plan on studying Marine Biology in College and continuing on to Graduate school. I'd really like to focus on marine mammals.  I love the outdoors, camping, fishing, hiking and feel right at home in any body of water.  

My buddies and I love playing sand volleyball and we get together in the off season and play in indoor leagues to stay in shape and on our game.

I'm all about my team and will always cheer on their successes and boost them up when they fall.  It's what we do! I'm coachable and ready to learn anything to improve.  

This journey has been exciting so far and I can't wait to see where it leads.  Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little bit!
