When I started playing soccer at the age of 4 I had no idea how much I would grow to love this game. I love to compete at such a high energy level and with so much passion that at an early age I would be crushed if we did not win. As I have grown older my love for playing soccer with my friends and great teammates has fueled my increased passion for the game. I am confident that my personal attributes of playing with an aggressive attitude, competitive edge, athleticism, team attitude and being coachable makes me a great candidate in becoming a student athlete in college. I also strive to be a great student working to be a smart, organized and a quick to learn individual. I also strive to be a great collaborative person when it comes to my academics pushing the team concept. My dad always tells me that teamwork is not only critical on the field but it is critical off the field in order to be successful in both arenas. I classify myself to be a good listener if it is a friend or teammate I am always there for them. I believe in building long lasting relationships with friends and teammates those that last a lifetime. Having played recreational soccer for a great part of my soccer career I always enjoy the part of the underdog. Coach Troy was my coach for all those years teaching us that God always came first, family is important, education is critical and respect others. Coach Troy would make me play different positions even though I was not a big fan. I learned to play multiple positions by doing this thus making me an asset to the team, so for that I am so thankful to him. When it came time for club soccer tryouts at a later age I proved not only to myself but to others that I had what it takes to compete at a higher level. That is why I enjoy the underdog role so much it is quite satisfying to prove yourself not just to oneself but to others that you do belong. I look forward to what God has placed on the path I will begin traveling down soon, feeling so Blessed!
