My name is Dominic Peters and I am a 5’10”, 150 lb outside back/outside midfielder. I am a Varsity team member on the TAPPS Division I Central Catholic High School soccer team from San Antonio, Texas.
Being a part of the historic winning legacy at Central Catholic High School, with 4 consecutive TAPPS Division I State Championships, has been an exhilarating and humbling experience. I had the privilege of playing on the 2019-2020 State Championship team. I understand and respect the dedication required to achieve this title.
Many factors contributed to our team’s success. Training ten months out of the year, my routine consists of waking up at 5 am to train for 2 hours before school, a full 8 hour day of academics, weight training after school ending with a 2 hour track practice. I ran club track with Speed City Elite for six years and competed at the National level at the 2017 AAU Junior Olympics - Boys 100 Meter Hurdles (#21), 2017 AAU Boys 200 Meter Hurdles (#27) and 2018 AAU 200 Meter Hurdles (#16).
Although I enjoy running track, I have made a commitment to the sport I love - soccer. The dedication and sacrifices required are worth it in order for me to achieve my goal of playing collegiate soccer while pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering.
