Most recent, I have been training eith the San Antonio Surf UPSL team, formerly known as Alamo City UPSL who won their conference last season. I enjoy pushing myself against more mature and seasoned players.
For club, I am team co-captain and currently play defensive midfielder, center midfielder, and center back for the BVB IASATX 02 Boys (formerly San Antonio Hammers/Dallas Texans San Antonio). Our team played in the USYS National League's Frontier Conference for 2018/2019. We fell short in the rankings and now are playing in the State Classic League., so far we are 2-1-0 in our season.
I also play on the varsity soccer team (freshman, sophmore, junior, and senior year) at John Paul Stevens High School in San Antonio, Texas I am looking forward to continue playing soccer for my school as a midfielder. I like playing with different players from area clubs and also playing against some of my club teammates’ schools. I also enjoy the different coaching style of our school coach.
I truly love playing soccer and want to play at the highest level I can possibly play. I broke my leg two different times in a 10 month period a little over a year and a half ago and I have worked hard to come back even better than I was before. I learned so many things the game sometimes cannot teach such as not taking anything for granted, empathy, and serious dedication.
I am not precisely sure what I want to study, but I do know I want to enter the field of sports medicine, possibly physical therapy, or even psychology. Now that I am a senior, I would like to attend more ID clinics and narrow down my college prospects Although Covid has made that difficult.
