Personal Statement
My name Isaac Guillory and I am a member of the class of 2025 at The Woodlands College Park High School in The Woodlands, Texas. I currently play left back, center-back and forward on the 05/06 HTX ECNL, ODP South Region and the Varsity team at my high school.
I have been through many ups and downs throughout my 12 years of playing. and I have developed a never give up attitude. Throughout my time playing soccer I have learned important lessons and morals that stay with me today such as always face something head on, be fearless, respect your friends and teammates, and work hard! These lessons have all helped me along my journey with a goal to become a division one soccer player! I have also displayed success while playing American Football and other sports like track that have provided me additional areas of achievement.
Academically, my GPA for my sophomore year was a 4.1. I am now in my junior year where I am taking three honors classes and a College class for Dual Credit where I expect to continue my high academic achievement as I look to graduate in 2025.
I believe I am a top level player and have the ability to make an impact at YOUR University and soccer program. My primary position is left back where I play for my club and ODP. This plays to my strengths of attacking and defending up and down the field though my club plays a more possession style system. I can also play as a left or right wingback in a 3-5-2 formation. I am also versatile enough to be a winger in a three forward formation. I have also played at Centerback. All these positions help me to utilize my speed, 1-on-1 attacking ability, creativity to beat defenders and tracking back to defend which play to my skill set. I am naturally left footed, a good crosser of the ball and tend to do fairly well in the air because of my height. I feel my commitment to skill development has helped my personal play and combining that with my desire to be coached and learn has already shown in my growth as an overall leader and soccer player.
