Soccer is more than just a game, it’s a lifestyle. I love it because no situation will ever be the same, and it’s a strategic game that rewards a cerebral style of play. Being dedicated to becoming the best player possible, I’ve developed a strong mindset and a motivation to always stick to a healthy diet and strenuous routine. I always show respect towards others, and my parents are a massive contributor to this. They’ve taught me to think before doing, which has influenced my life greatly, not just in soccer, but in everything I do. If I don’t play at the pro level, my desire is to go into a career that involves math or nutrition, as both are interesting to me and require a high level of intelligence.
Winning is very important to me, but I believe that it is just as important for me to maintain good character by being a good sport, treating my coaches and teammates with respect, and setting a good example for those around me. Soccer has impacted me in a way that goes beyond the field, along with the many disciplines I've learned on my journey!
