Personal Statement
Throughout my life, sports have always been the thing that I never failed to love no matter how frustrating or difficult they were. I was always playing one sport or another while I was young. It wasn't long before I realized that soccer was my passion and the sport I really wanted to focus on. Soccer has taught me incredibly important life skills such as how to work well with others, how to sacrifice, and what hard work is. Being from California, the pandemic shut everything down. After things began to get better in other parts of the country, I wanted to move to be able to play and attend my high school classes in person. Even though I was working out daily, I hadn't played in a real match for just over a year. An opportunity to move to Utah came up and I took it. I now play and start for Sparta United's 04 team. We compete in Premier 1, National League PRO, and Club vs Club Northwest division. In the classroom, I am a student who has always finished with As and an occasional B. My GPA is 3.8. At the collegiate level, I believe that I will be an asset to your team. I am a positive, supportive team player, have a strong work ethic, and a continual desire to succeed on and off the field.
