- 2015 Highlights
Personal Statement
I have been playing soccer from since the age of nine. Ever since then my perseverance, work ethic, sportsmanship, leadership, and most of all passion and love for the game has grown tremendously. I am a player who strictly believes in "Whatever happens on the pitch stays on the pitch" but, at the same time I passionately hate losing. So I constantly practice at home or on the pitch in order to better my downfalls from my last performance. I practice alone but, I also encourage my teammates to do the same so we can all be on the same level because a single player can't run a team.
I believe that playing soccer at the collegiate level will enhance my dream of going pro while at the same time being able to obtain and education because both soccer and my education go hand in hand. Although I plan on make soccer my profession, getting a degree in electrical engineering is my plan B. I have been taking Electrical Engineering classes at the Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC) and will certified to do electrical work on June of 2016. The reason I chose this field is so that I can continue the family business that specializes in repairing and selling business machinery.
By being the captain of my school's varsity team and a chosen player for my country's U-17 national team, I know that hard work, staying focused, and perseverance is key. So I plan on bringing these aspects along with passionate love for the game to any team, no matter the level or league it may be. Where I play doesn't matter because, I would always try to play my best and with hard work I can end up being the best.
