Personal Statement

I play for the DC United Academy in the MLS Next league in 2020-21. It is my dream to play at the highest collegiate level and compete for and win championships while working toward my degree. I was invited to attend a U.S. Soccer Youth National Team Regional Training Center with only 30 other players from the Virginia/Maryland/Washington DC region. I am a strong 1v1 and positional defender and I'm very comfortable with the ball at my feet and playing out of the back. I love shutting down opponents and starting the attack for my team with passes that break the lines or surges on my own. I'm a positive and vocal leader on and off the field. I love being part of a team. I work hard. I want to constantly learn and improve and I can't wait to be part of a great program.
