Akum Dhillon '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a player who is very passionate in soccer; it runs in my family. My Great-grandfather played professional soccer in South Africa and my grandfather played soccer in the Indian Army for over 50 years. I have played soccer since I was 3 years old and have been fortunate to play in countless countries including India, Portugal, Sweden, and the US. In my experiences abroad and at home, I have learned leadership qualities of which I feel are essential for a goalkeeper. I have learned how to provide immediate active positive communication. I strive to make myself and my teammates better every day, and even when I may not be the first choice, I will always push my compatriot to be a better player for the good of the team.
