Personal Statement
I fell in love with soccer at a very young age. My parents saw the interest I had in this sport and have supported me ever since in my journey. They have been there for me when my team loses or wins games. They have shown me how to be calm on the field and to stay disciplined. My goal is to play soccer at the college level and also to continue my academic career.
I currently play for the Skyline Elite program in my Area and I am the captain of the team. I try my hardest to help my teammates not by yelling at them but being calm and listening. I try to be a good example off and on the field so me and my teammates can succeed. It was a Challenge to make it because A Lot of talented players came to tryouts all around the Region to make the team. We compete in the Club Champions League and the Presidents Cup. I used to go to Albemarle High school and played for them my freshman and sophomore Years. We had many college recruits and it was a really good experience for my development. I play as a center midfielder for my Club but in Albemarle High school I've learned with the help of my coaches and my teammates how to play as a Right back. Whenever I have time I always practice. I don't like waiting while I could be out Improving my skill and game. I am always training off season and giving my all at practice because I want to be as good as I can and not regret any of my performances on the Field.
The fields of studies I'm currently interested in are History,Agriculture, and Architecture. Last year I ended with all A's for my final grade. I'm currently taking Honor and AP classes to get my advanced diploma. I've worked extremely hard for my grades and for my progression in Soccer. I'm somebody who doesn't get mad when i'm wrong. I try to learn and improve my game on the field and my academics. I want to go to college so I can be the first in my family to do so. My family originates from Honduras but they came here to give me and my younger siblings a better chance to succeed in our academics.
