Personal Statement
I aspire to be the best student-athlete I can possibly be. I have been able to balance sports and academics throughout my high school years, maintaining over a 3.5 GPA. I listen to the coaches, I'm committed to working hard, and enjoy putting in the time to improve my game. My playing style is attacking-defender. I recently moved back to the States at the end of May 2020, after living abroad in Germany for 10 years.
I've played with players in England and Germany, and players from all over Europe when I was selected to be a member of the Olympic Development Program (ODP) Europe Team. As a non-native German speaker, I was selected to be a coach for the U-9 club team where I played for 6 years as a starter from U12-U19.
In addition, I aspire to help society through academics. I have a passion for physics and would like to take it past the collegiate level. I want to attend a school where I can advance in physics to someday help the world by researching how the world works in order to better it. Like soccer, I would not stop until I contribute to society in a positive way.
Traits that describe me are good character, commitment, hard-working, motivation, determination, and kindness.
