I'm really looking forward to continuing my academic and soccer pursuits in college. I'm currently going to school at Willows Preparatory and I really enjoy the rigor and ideology behind the school. It being an IB school helps prepare me for college especially the Diploma Program, the Diploma Program is great because it allows us freedom to choose a field of study and go more into depth into that area through my last two years of high school. It's very personalized and engaging.
When I think about what I bring to the soccer field and my team, my coaches have told me that I am an intelligent player. That means I can see the field very well and anticipate what's coming next. This meshes well with my style of play which is to be a distributor, someone who makes dangerous through balls or someone who connects the lines. Often my coaches have told me that I am a very composed player. If I am playing on defense I will allow players to come to me before passing to open up space for teammates to receive the ball in. Aside from distributing, I am a defensively minded player, I always protect the goal even if that means I have to sprint 50 yards to get in a defensive position.
