My name is Dylan Holmes and I live in Snohomish, WA. I am a Senior at Glacier Peak High School in Snohomish, WA and will graduate in June of 2019. I currently play for the Snohomish United RCL Division I team. Playing college soccer has always been a dream of mine ever since I started playing back in 1st grade. Not only would it be my dream, but I believe it would also enhance my experience throughout college. I would be very dedicated to being a team player, bettering myself and putting the work in to help the team. I plan on obtaining a college degree for my future goals and successes in life. Academically, I would like to pursue a Graduate degree in Physical Therapy, but will first get my Bachelors in Biology with a Pre Physical Therapy emphasis.
I have been fortunate enough to play with the RCL division I team for Snohomish United for the past three years. In our most recent U18 fall season (2018), we finished top 4 in league play. We are currently in the middle of our State Championship tournament right now, which is reserved for the top teams in the state. This upcoming high school season I have been selected to be team captain for our varsity team. We finished our last season (Spring 2018) as district champs and placed 5th in state. I have an excellent work ethic that drives me to be the best athlete/student possible and I also try to help others become better along with myself. My biggest assets are my height and ability to win balls in the air offensively and defensively, my long throw ins, a good defender, I am a key target player on set pieces. I work hard to keep in shape and weight train to increase my strength. I look forward to the challenge that collegiate soccer brings and the experiences that can come from it.
