A day doesn't pass without me thinking about my future on and off the field. I've been playing soccer since as young as the age of 2. Due to being a military child I haven't always been on a team, but one thing that might separate me from the others is that I never stop working on my game wither I am on a team or not. My father played for a local town club a couple divisions below the Bundesliga while we spent 3 years in Germany. While overseas, I was able to further strengthen my football skills by learning and watching the ways of the dutch. My experience learning their way of soccer has taught me to be more open to the various opportunities around me.
I enjoy playing any kind of soccer, any time and anywhere I can. As a developing player, I am very teachable and very open to the vast majorities of soccer styles around the world. Peers and coaches have told me that I am a highly dedicated athlete with great ambition, and to be honest, that is a true statement. I always show up to practice early and occasionally stay after to work on specific attributes that I'm presented with the opportunity to improve. Not only this, but I have participated in local and club ran developmental events. While coaches and adults are talking I am always acquiescent to their opinions and ideas. As an athlete, I strive to always be as good if not better than the players around me. 110% is the amount of dedication and effort I put towards every drill and game. While others do whats required and only what's required, I venture to go above and beyond if it's what's best for the team and my future.
Academically I have the same morals as I do on the pitch; strive to be the best I can, and do more than what's needed to succeed. Although time can be tight with school, school sports, and club soccer, I still maintain a high strung GPA. I also try to put all sports and drama aside while I'm in the classroom. Ever since the 5th grade I've maintained the honor roll status and a great GPA, and I personally believe that this accomplishment has kept me on a continuous track to succeed. Getting into college has always been one of my biggest long term goals, and I sincerely hope to make this goal become a reality. When I do go to college I would like to pursue a career in either Architecture or Engineering.
