Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Steel Brooke. I am currently a Junior at the Chippewa Falls High School in Wisconsin. I have been playing soccer since I was a 5 years old. Through my life I have always been a active kid in sports. When I was younger I would play football and baseball along with soccer. But I was always looking for the sport that best suited me as a person. After I grew out of baseball and my mom not wanting me to play tackle football, my life switched and was centered around soccer. Since middle school my love for soccer was growing by the day, I was watching more professional soccer and I was being a part of more competitive soccer for my towns traveling soccer club. Although I come from a small town where soccer is not seen as popular, I have been traveling to be involved in many camps as well as trying out for bigger soccer teams in the state where I can improve myself. I believe that I have a wide knowledge of the sport, from participating in high levels and watching professional soccer, I always take something away from a game. As a high school player I have definitely grown as a player and a friend to my teammates. When I am on the field I am always looking to direct my teammates during a game. I am always wanting and willing to learn new drills and ways to improve my game. I am excited for my new journey in the search for college that best suits me and that shapes my career and one that I can call my new team!
