I have played the game of soccer since I was three years old. For the past six years I have played on a club team for NEW United Soccer Club out of Appleton Wisconsin, and I currently play for Northshore United in Cedarberg WI. I have also played for the Wisconsin Olympic Development Program for the past three years and every year I have been selected from a pool of 50 players to play for the team in the Regional II showcase tournament. As a high school junior, I also play at Hortonville High School as a starter at right defense. I guess you could say that soccer is a passion of mine and a huge part of my life. I am a very determined player, and along with being supportive of my teammates on the field as well as off the field, I also try to work twice as hard to be a role model for my teammates. I am very confident in my playing ability and always push myself to become a better player and to help my team become better. As a player I look to play at the highest level possible and look to improve on anything I can. I also am very committed to the team that I play for and I am a player that can take criticism to become better. I also don’t let the opposition in get in my head when the game gets tough. I also feel that this attitude is important off the field as well. Academically I try to challenge myself by enrolling in advanced classes because I believe that learning in important.
