Hey!! My name is Baboucarr Nyang, my graduation year is 2022. As a junior I been selected to the varsity team, I always like to show of my hard working and stay humble through the ups and downs. I first started playing soccer at the age of 9, by the time I was 10 I started playing different roles and later on I prefer forward. Making the varsity at my junior helps me a lot to focus on how to take my career to the next level. I was able to prove my coach Im capable at playing at the next level, I was not able to start at my junior year but I play all the games. I always search for clubs like Madison 56ers but by the time I start the season was half way over, then I start practicing individual and going to ubay with friends to kick some balls and improve our skills.
Also being half Gambian, I always love to play soccer because it bring happiness to people and unite people. Playing in Africa is not an easy task, it’s always hard. Then my father start taking me to some countries in Europe, like England and Sweden. when I first went to England that’s the time I noticed soccer is not an easy journey you just have to have faith and keep your head up and keep moving. Even by that makes me realize about my school works, my current GPA is 3.83 but I wish it goes higher.
