Personal Statement
Collegiality I would like to continue my soccer career and graduate from a college or university. I believe that I am a good fit for any college team because I am very committed to soccer and want to improve and get better to become the best player on the pitch. I have played competitive club soccer for the past 7 years, starting my club career as an 11U player at Milwaukee kickers north. Now, I have been playing for Bavarian United for the past two years. I have played all 4 years of my high school career on the varsity team and now as a senior am the captain of the team leading us to go 17-3 in our season. We won our first game in the Division one state playoff tournament beating #11 seed, Kenosha Bradford, 2-1. We then went on to play #3 seed Oak Creek, unfortunately, we played poorly and suffered a 0-4 defeat. Being on varsity all 4 years has taught me that effort needs to be shown at all times whether I'm playing all 80 minutes of the game or as a freshman where I would only have 10 minutes at the end of the game to show the coach how I can contribute to the team. Academically I excel at even the highest levels, I am an International Baccalaureate Candidate and have a very rigorous academic schedule. I can balance my athletic and academic schedule to not only perform on the pitch but in the classroom as well. I am different from other players because I feel very passionately about the sport and try to do anything I can to become the best version of myself, I would train at 6 in the morning before I went to work in the summertime and would just spend as much time as I could with the sport that I love. I love the game of soccer and would want nothing more than to be able to continue my soccer career at a college or university.
