Ryan Candella '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Ryan Candella and I am a 2023 OB for Mount Horeb High School Varsity and for my club team Madison 56ers. I also play RWB and CDM. My main goal is to receive an excellent college education while playing college soccer on a competitive team. 

I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old as well as baseball and basketball. I have always loved to play soccer and when I started high school I decided to completely focus on soccer and take it to the next level. By competing in multiple sports, I feel I have developed strong physical skills and mental toughness, which has made me a well-rounded athlete.  It has shown me the importance of teamwork and given me a strong work ethic. I pride myself on the fact that I play great under pressure and have overcome adversity. 

I'm a good candidate for your team because I am a strong agile player and am dedicated to putting in the work and training to improve my game. I am a fast and strong defender, versatile, quick at decision making, positive on and off the field, communicate well with teammates and am determined to win. I am very respectful to my coaches and teammates.
