Logan Ketterer '12 Recruiting Profile

Senior - 6'2" 165lbs. My 76.5" wingspan provides me net coverage of large GK's but my build gives me the quickness and reflexes of smaller GK's. With an outstanding defense, I was ranked #3 Nationally in Shutouts (ESPN RISE 2010-2011) and became the 1st and only GK in Wisconsin history to post shutouts in every game throughout the WIAA playoffs and the state tournament - in any division, ever. I am very proud of this because this record cannot be broken only tied. In 2010, we allowed only 10 goals in 26 games enroute to winning the WI State Championship!  We followed that up my senior year with another WI State title only allowing 16 goals in 26 games.  My high-school career shutout total is an unofficial WI record of 50!   I will never tarnish the name of my coach, college or family. I believe character matters. Other interests: Wisconsin State tennis qualifier as Sophomore. AAU basketball, 4th in WI free-throw competition. Outside of sports I enjoy playing videogames and building things. One of my coaches said that I am unique in that I can learn what he teaches by merely listening. It doesn't even have to be demonstrated and I can add the technique into my repertoire. Since 7th grade, I made written goals and put them on a poster above my bed. I have either accomplished or am on track to accomplish them all: 1. Start on Varsity as a Freshman;(DONE) 2. Set school record for fewest goals allowed; (DONE) 3. Set school shutout record;(DONE) 4. Win a State Championship Junior year(DONE) 5. Win a State Championship Senior year (DONE). I refuse to lose and refuse to be out worked. I want to take soccer as far as possible, including playing professionally. Collegiately, I wish to play for a coaching staff and program dedicated to winning league and/or national titles. My plan is to pursue an Engineering or Business degree. I will explore any college that is a match.  My high school team repeated this year with a D3 State Championship.  I end my high school career with 50 shutouts and 2 state championships.  I am way more grateful for the state championships.
