I want to go to a college that has a high standard in both academics and athletics. I am a mature team player. I usually play right or left outside back, center back, or defensive midfield. I will play where the team needs me. I am versatile and also play as a right or left forward when needed. I will try my hardest because I love the game and want to help my team to win a title. I am self motivated to excel in both school and in sports. My four year history of high honors in advanced classes while playing a sport supports this. My short term goal is to work hard and improve as a soccer player while I attend college. My end goal is hopefully get my Masters in Exercise Science and then be able to help other athletes.
I live for soccer. I play in the fall on Varsity at high school, for club in the spring and through the winter with the indoor futsal league and am also participating in the 2014-2105 WI ODP training, 11/2014-4/2015. I referee soccer games in between my regular games and also coach a recreation U7 soccer team. If I have spare time, I practice, watch soccer on tv, or sometimes enjoy playing a soccer video game. I started playing when I was 11 with a RASA recreation team and knew it was something I wanted to take to the next level and play club by age 14. I have played year round since then. Just recently, I decided I wanted to play in college. I don't think I would know what to do with myself unless I was training and kicking the ball around with my teammates. There is no greater feeling than stopping the other team from scoring or scoring on the other team. I can't wait to learn new things and improve as a player in college.
