Personal Statement
I have been fortunate to play at a top level club in my area. St. Croix has given me the opportunity to compete at a high level of play. This year, my team is playing in the ECNL. I am also going to be playing in the UPSL with FC Minneapolis this summer. For my high school team, I led my team as a junior captain to our 2nd Wisconsin State appearance in program history. I have also had other playing opportunities such as traveling to Germany with the MN ODP to compete against several top German Clubs and train at a national recognized soccer complex.
As a junior, I have taken a challenging course load and have maintained a 4.0/4.0 GPA. For example, I attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls to take Multivariable Calculus and have taken many other AP classes as well. As such, my goal is to attend a University with both high academic standards as well as a competitive soccer program.
On a personal level, I have an extremely strong work ethic both on and off the field. I am generally the first one to practice and always the last one to leave. I am willing to do whatever is asked of me and strive to take a leadership position on the field. In school, I follow these same principles completing all assignments on time and achieving high marks, despite a rigorous training and travel schedule.
