Qualifying for the CCS Swimming and Diving Championships has so far been the highlight of my high school swimming career. I grew the most as a student-athlete towards the end of my sophomore year and in the beginning of my junior year because I had a shoulder injury, which made me focus on the technical aspects of swimming much more. During that time of personal growth, my grades in school improved dramatically.
I am fortunate to be part of a great swim program at Fremont High School. Although I didn’t make any individual finals at the CCS Swimming championships, our relays have qualified for CCS finals over the years, which taught me the values of teamwork and leadership. I’m looking for a program that fits me both athletically and academically. Through my swimming experiences, academic strengths, and leadership experiences in school such as being Mock Trial President, I strongly believe that I can greatly contribute to your swim program, as well as your academic programs.
