In the 3 1/4 years that I have been swimming in club and the 2 years in high school I have learned many valuable lessons. I have learned about how to be not only an athlete and teammate but also how important it is, thru hard work and dedication, to be a contributing factor to the success of what ever I am involved in. My work ethics in both the classroom and in the pool have been reinforced by these lessons as I currently hold a 3.65 GPA and the Progress Curve in my swimming events have been consistently improving. I am now, as a sophomore in high school, making the podium in Invitational and in Championship swim meets and with the rate that my times are progressing I feel that I can compete at a high level in college.
