Joseph San Filippo '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming since I was four years old, I was the youngest on the team. I remember the first time I have ever seen a pool and wanted to dive right in, that's when I decided I want to swim. I always wanted to swim competitively in college and have had my mindset on it since elementary school.  

I understand being able to swim in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I want to get there. I am a team player and will do anything for my team. I build friendly relationships with my teammates and coaches. I always cheer on my teammates and help them to improve. 

I am a coachable student and I will never make the same mistake twice, I easily learn to fix whatever the problem in my technique is and have it corrected. I am also very competitive and I love a good challenge. I like to push myself and further my limits athletically and academically to become a better athlete and student.
