Collegiate swimming has been a goal of mine for a number of years. The total team experience is something that I am looking forward to participating in. I believe I can contribute greatly in creating a positive team atmosphere. My teammates consider me the leader of the team, and I have received leadership awards from my coaches in multiple seasons. I have a work ethic like few others on my team. I am committed to making myself better with every stroke I take. I can swim multiple strokes, which makes me flexible. I am willing to swim in any event that will best contribute to the team's success. I am also a dedicated student. I take multiple honors and AP classes in order to challenge myself to achieve more. I have maintained a 4.0+ GPA throughout two years of high school, and I plan to build on that in future years. All in all I am a well-rounded student athlete, and I am excited for the opportunity that swimming in college provides.
