Personal Statement

My parents always told me growing up to get into a good college but also do what you love doing. My passion for swimming started when I had my first lesson at the YMCA. Ever since then, I was encouraged by many good swimmers and coaches along my side to get where I'm at today. I am a resilient and optimistic student athlete that's been through many obstacles throughout my swimming career so far, and still learning ways from the people who surround me to be a better athlete and student. Getting into a college that has a successful swimming program and academic programs has been one of my biggest goals for a while now.
