I am a somewhat new swimmer, only starting my swimming career in August 2014. From the first time, I jumped in the pool, I knew that swimming was the sport for me. I had a mentor that told me that I was a natural swimmer and that made me realize that I had the potential to take me swimming to the next level and beyond. Swimming in college would give me a life-changing opportunity.
I am a very competitive swimmer with always giving 110% in everything I do. I am a leader, always doing my best and always encouraging my teammates to push hard to do their best as well. I am one of the hardest working recruits you will find, as my coaches will say. I am extremely coachable and strive to be a top swimmer on the team. I will do whatever it takes to make myself and teammates better.
In the classroom, even though homeschooled, I study hard and put forth 110% all the time. I have proved myself in the classroom and taking dual credit classes since I was a sophomore in high school. Outside the classroom I volunteer whenever time allows and involved in HOBY Leadership.
I want to attend a college that will meet both my academic goals and swimming ambitions. I want to ultimately find a college match that will challenge me both academically and in the pool. I hope to become a great role model and leader of your team.
