My name is Aaron Dies. I will be in the graduating class of 2021 at Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana. I have been swimming competitively since I was 7 years old. I have participated in every long and short course season since then. I have also been a member of my club's state team during each course. I am a varsity high school swimmer at Penn. In 2018, I was voted most valuable freshman.
I feel that swimming is a very tough sport. In order to remain competitive, I put a lot of effort into practice. I have recently completed an elite swim camp at Bolles in Jacksonville, Florida. The effort I put into my practices has allowed my to continue to drop time. I follow my coach's instruction and try to lead by example for my team's success. I set goals for my performance and try to learn from my wins as well as my defeats.
