Personal Statement
I, Alexander Volodchenko, am finishing the 10th grade and plan to enter a higher educational institution in the USA.
I'm especially good at math and English. I live in the Moscow region, study at a private school and have been swimming for 12 years.
My family has great respect for sports. Grandma is a master of sports in skydiving and cycling, grandfather is a rugby player, dad is a member of the Azerbaijani national water polo team. My fate was sealed. At the age of 5, my father took me to the Yantar swimming pool, to a swimming school organized by a team of ambitious athletes led by Denis Pimankov, an Olympic medalist (Atlanta, 1996). There I studied with Ivan Usov, an Olympic medalist (Atlanta, 1996). When I turned 12 years old, I moved to the professional sports club Dynamo, under the leadership of Arkady Tarasevich, where I am engaged to this day. Such famous athletes as Kliment Kolesnikov, Grigory Tarasevich, Evgeny Rylov were engaged in our club.
In February-March 2023, I was at the training camp in the South African Republic with coach Nikita Lugovoy and Elena Karpeeva in a team with Nastya Shkurdai, the champion of Belarus (3rd world result) and Gabriela Nikitina, the champion of Latvia and the Baltic States.
I am the winner of the Dynamo Club Cup in 2022, a multiple winner of the All-Russian Mad wave Classic commercial tournament, a regular participant in the Championships and Championships of the city of Moscow, in conditions of the fiercest competition I was selected for the Russian Championship.
According to the All-Russian Swimming Federation, according to the results of the 1st half of 2023, my rating among athletes was born in 2006.: 50 breaststroke - 52nd place 100 breaststroke - 39th place 200 breaststroke - 39th place 200 complex - 28th place

I have always wanted to study in the USA, because here there is a unique opportunity to combine serious professional sports and a high level of education.
