Personal Statement

I believe that I am a strong candidate to swim at the college level because of the dedication and hard work I put into the sport in and out of the pool. I am a team leader on my club and high school teams. I prove that by displaying a strong moral foundation, encouraging and motivating my teammates during difficult sets, and pushing my own body to its limit in every practice/weight session.   I not only would bring all of these attributes to a swimming program but also to a school.   I maintain a 3.25 GPA in honors courses while practicing 21 hours a week.  My main goal is to receive a quality education while doing what I love.  I have a strong belief that nothing is impossible just difficult.  Success occurs with goal setting, perseverance, and effort.
