David Kingsbury '22 Recruiting Profile

I'm a senior at Walker High School in Louisiana, graduating spring 2022, who's looking forward to taking the next step in my swimming career. I take my studies seriously and take pride in my 3.7 cumulative GPA. In addition to the required academics, I played saxophone and Bari saxophone in the Walker High School Band of Legacy for 3 years and was a proud member of JROTC for 2 years. Some of my goals are to continue to drop time in my events, be accepted to a college (hopefully with a scholarship)graduate with a masters in History, be part of an awesome team, & to make it big- such as be part of Team USA or even the Olympics. I love the comraderie of being part of a team and the pride that comes along with it. I am the 2021 WHS Swim team captain, which is an honor that I take seriously. I am dedicated to the sport, I am motivated and when I'm in the pool, I give it my all. I have the heart & passion for this sport; swimming is what makes me, me. I love swimming & I will do whatever it takes to reach my goals. I want to be a better me, & be the 1st me, not the next Michael Phelps or Adam Peatty. I am ready!!
