Personal Statement
Competitive swimming has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I can't imagine life without it. Swimming helps me stay organized, disciplined and on top of my game not only in swimming, but also academically and in all my other activities. Most importantly, I enjoy swimming; I like to compete and be part of a team. I am in the pool 15 hours a week, take seven classes daily and make Dean's List at a highly academic college preparatory high school. Additionally, I'm on track to be team captain of my high school team. I want to swim at the collegiate level at the most academically challenging college possible.
