STATES Div. 1 Zac...Personal Statement
Swimming came naturally to me although I didn't realize it right away because I was playing baseball and football. With swimming, I work hard and see the results, especially when I was ranked 8th in the country for the mile and won age groups at New England Championships and at the Oly Invitational. When I was 14 I was chosen for the Eastern Zone Select Camp in Maryland. August 2017, I made my first Junior National cut in the 400IM for December 2017.
I'm dedicated, hard-working and self motivated, swimming multiple practices daily. When I swim open water it's the best feeling ever, the longer the better. I want to produce winning results as a team player at the college level. My interests of study are Math and Business.
