Personal Statement
I want to be the first Olympic medalist in Honduras. I love working hard and pushing further than my own limits and helping my teammates achieve that too. For a year we have had our pool closed and empty, but we have been training in a 25m laneless pool, many might think this is a sob story, but this is the best thing that has ever happened to my swimming career, it has taught me to love my sport and work harder than what I can in any circumstance, It has also taught me loyalty to my team and friends, there are other teams in my town with pools open, but I would never leave my coach and my teammates. My coach is my maximum authority in the pool and he is to be respected at all times. I believe swimming in the U.S. will make my process towards achieving my goals easier, there is no limit to my dreams and certainly to how hard I am willing to work.
