My name is Aubrey Churchman and I am currently a Senior at Park Hill South High School. I am interested in taking Swimming to the next level because it has helped me physically, mentally, and as a human being. Swimming has changed my life. It has given me something to work towards and helped me acquire good friends that will last a life-time. I'm very committed to the sport and i absolutely love it. I am a very hardworking and somewhat of a perfectionist and I take my training very seriously. I am standing at 5'10" and weighing in at 138 pounds. My junior year, I was All-Conference Honorable Mention in the 50 free and 100 free and my Senior Year I was 1st team All-Conference in the 200 free relay and 400 free relay, 2nd team All-Conference in the 100 yard Backstroke and All-Conference Honorable Mention in the 100 Butterfly placing 3rd. I was assistant team captain and I have been told that I can portray the role as a team leader and example. Outside of swim, i'm a very friendly guy and love spending time with my friends and playing other team sports. I would like to attend school (if in my reach) on the west-coast or stick around in the mid-west. I am looking for a relatively big school but not too big. My preferable major is in the field of Psychology. My realistic athletics goals are to qualify for the 2012 Junior National Championships before I turn 19. Also, to get the chance to speak with Division 2 coaches about possibly participating in their swim program.
