Personal Statement
Due to Covid-19, I wasn't able to swim for 3 months and that really put me far behind than I would like to be, after months of practice I got better and better. Before the 3 months weren't able to swim I had my 100 fly at 1:11. After the 3 months, it was at 1:30. I lost all my endurance and had a really hard time swimming, but after months and months of practice, I got back into it. I am still going strong.
I started swimming in 2016 but got put on a swim team in 2019. After swimming a year at LVSC (Las Vegas Swim Club) I was moving up faster than everybody else. I love swimming and I am glad I am in it. I like all my coaches, My coach now is pushing me with my butterfly. His goal for me was to do a 200 fly at a meet before I turned 15 in October.
In January of 2020, I started going Vegan and it was hard the first few months and I had to get rid of a lot of things I liked, but my dad, sister stuck with me the whole way and because of Covid-19 we took back a few things like sour cream and cheese. Now we are eating some fish but still no meat.
I have wanted to be an architect and I am still passionate about it. Swimming and architecture have been my goal for years now and I will not quit swimming if it is the last thing I do.
