I am an incoming high school senior, motivated to attend an academically and athletically competitive college or university and earn an undergraduate degree in a biology related science field. I have been a competitive swimmer for Reno Aquatic Club for seven years and attended numerous Far Westerns, Junior Olympic and Senior meets. As a dedicated athlete, I am looking to continue my swimming career in college and I hope to be a great addition to any collegiate team. I am a dedicated student, and I choose to constantly challenge myself, as demonstrated by my numerous honors and AP classes and extracurricular activities. Even though my high-school and my competitive swim team do not designate a team captain, I have been a leader in and out of the pool, serving as a role-model to my younger teammates and classmates, and demonstrating continuous discipline, focus and dedicating to my sport and academics.
