Angel Velasquez '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I’m Angel Velasquez, a junior at the Jose Marti STEM Academy in Union City, New Jersey. I am a person of endless dedication, so much so that missing a single swimming practice a year is a rare occurrence. I pour my best efforts at swimming practice in order to compete better and grow into a better Angel than yesterday. Everyone is considered a friend in my eyes and so I get along with everyone, which allows me to serve my team in a way that makes sure they always have a great time. I am looking forward to attending to an institution where I can make a positive difference in the lives around me as I myself continue to improve. My goals before entering college are to hit a 55 in the 100 Breaststroke and to have some work experience in engineering.
