Daniel Hadary '18 Recruiting Profile

Swimming feels natural to me, it has taught me that if I put in the work and dedication I will see the results. When I'm swimming it feels like a more familiar place, a place where I can reach my goals. I aspire to attend an academic institution in which swimming is as important as acquiring a good education. I started swimming at age of 5, with the CYO , which is where I swam until 9th grade. I started swimming with Bayside High School as a freshman, and I also joined the Flushing Flyers the same year. I am a Senior Mets qualifier in the 100 backstroke, 200 backtroke, 200 IM, 400 IM, and 500 freestyle. I am also a qualifier for Speedo Sectionals qualifier in the 100 and 200 backstroke. As well as this, I am YMCA Nationals qualifier in the 100 backstroke and the 200 IM. I've qualified and swam in the NYSPHSAA Swimming and Diving Championships in the 100 backstroke. I understand that this is only the beginning, that there is still a lot of growing left to do, but I am and always will be driven to get better and better, and I always strive to be the best at the things I do in life.
