Personal Statement
I’m a 6’ 2" distance swimmer from Pittsford, NY. I won both my individual events at sectionals this year and was awarded swimmer of the year in Monroe County. I have a 3.6 GPA and have a 94 average this year. I take practice and my commitment to swimming seriously. I am always early, I never miss, and I find pools to workout even when away on vacation. In the time I spend away from the pool, I have accumulated around 250 volunteer hours.
I am looking for a college that will give me a good opportunity in swimming as well as in the classroom. I would like a college with a strong campus community. I am open to any college where I can make a big impact on my team. I am interested in Engineering and possibly Computer Science Engineering as a field of study.

- Liam won first in his 200 IM and 100 free in 2015 as well as 2nd in his 50 fly at district swim meet at age 12. He swam from grade 1-7 for this team and competed at states in all 7 years. Made finals at states in all 3 of his events in 7th (age 12) at States meet and placed 5th in 50 butterfly and 100 freestyle and 10th place in 200 IM in finals. His age group won states when he was 11 and his relay team has won first at states while he was swimming in it for this team. He was an all events states qualifier in his last 4 years with the team.
