Luke McCormack '26 Recruiting Profile

At McQuaid Jesuit High School, I'm committed to both academic and athletic excellence. In achieving a GPA of 98.5, I'm demonstrating my ability to effectively balance a rigorous academic schedule while meeting my swimming goals.

In the classroom, I'm challenging myself with several AP and accelerated classes.  These courses are not only testing me intellectually, but are honing my skills in time management and organization.  As a swimmer, I have achieved notable milestones, including qualifying for Speedo Sectionals in three events and winning the NYS Section V championships in two events. These accomplishments come from a strong work ethic at practice and the ability to succeed under pressure.  Beyond academics and athletics, I have nurtured a passion for music. With nine years of experience as a pianist, I've learned the importance of dedication and practice. 

Finally, I pride myself on the character and leadership qualities I'm developing at McQuaid Jesuit High School. My focus on collaboration, mutual respect, and a positive attitude help me to achieve my personal goals and to contribute positively to the community around me.
