2016 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am Jarrod Rizzi. I tell myself that everyday when I get out of bed, and in all reality, it helps me get through the day. When I swim, I feel alive, it's a feeling that most people won't experience ever. That feeling you get after you know you've just crushed it in the pool, gone a best time, won, is wonderful. My goal in swimming is to keep improving to be able to make the 2020 Olympic trials, which with the right program, is attainable. I have won many sportsmanship awards throughout the years along with my high point scorer and leadership awards, and I think I am well rounded. My goal in college is to obtain a good education and a degree. My goal with swimming is to be the very best I can possibly be, and doing whatever it takes to get there. I know what I am looking for. I am Jarrod Rizzi.
