Since I was a young kid, I have dreamed about swimming for a division I top 5 program in the US and win a NCAA National Championship individual and team titles. I also continue to work very hard to make the USA Jr. National Team before heading to college or during my freshman year in college. One of may major goals is to compete in the Summer Olympic Games and win a gold medal for the USA. Since I am a son of a Brazilian/Italian coach, there is also hope that I would consider swimming for Brazil or Italy.
I am a versatile swimmer who races multiple events. I have won multiple state championships in different strokes and distances and placed highly in the country. I place within the top in the country 18 & under for the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 100 fly, 100 back, and have also swam the 500 and 1000 yards at various races. I have also represented NC as an Open Water Zone Team member qualified to race the Open Water National Championships.
In terms of things I do outside of swimming, I am a musician who plays piano and saxophone in the jazz band at my school. I am a simple kid that likes to play video games, listen to music, and enjoy traveling with my family. I believe that I have always been a good and supportive teammate and I have always enjoyed teaching swimming to young swimmers in my club team. I am pretty laid back but an intense person and competitor in everything I do. I don't like to lose in anything but I have been working hard to learn from my loses which are inevitable in sports and come back stronger giving me the best chance to win. In college, I hope to be able to compete at the highest level and I will likely major in business. I love learning how to invest in the stock market and I can see myself working as a financial advisor for large corporations.
