2022 Highlights Personal Statement
My goals in college are to be an elite swimmer and to be one of the top performing students in class. Something that differentiates me from other swimmers is my focus on leadership, both personally and at the team level. I understand the importance of having responsibility and focus while at practice and balancing that with having fun. Another trait that separates me from other recruits is my performance in the classroom. Not only do I have a 4.0/4.53 GPA, but I am ranked 4th in my class of over 430 students. I also am the type of swimmer to leave it all in the pool at practice and have a great mindset at meets, which is why my success in the past will translate to sustained growth going forward.
