Personal Statement
I have been swimming for my YMCA since I was 6. I am a leader on the team and a very hard worker. I am known for being a team player and will put the needs of the team above my own. I have been to the YMCA National Short Course Championships every year for the past 4 years and placed 24th in the 200 Fly at the 2012 YMCA National championships this April, swimming a personal best time of 154.70. My personal best in the 100 yard Fly is 52.74.
My career goal is to become a nurse anesthetist with the Navy. I am looking for a college with a Bachelor of Nursing program, so I can start working toward that goal. The size of the university does not matter. I would love the chance to contribute to a college team and to see how much I can improve at that level.
