DJ Arslanian '16 Recruiting Profile

My goals for college are simple:  to get a great education, to further my swimming career and to make a difference as a friend and a contributor to my community.  My main goals for swimming are to be a great teammate, to be a huge asset to the team and to achieve an Olympic trial cut.  I aspire to be a role model that my teammates, former teammates and my family can look up to and be proud of.  I am a good candidate for your school because I am a hard worker both in and out of the pool.  Swimmers are unique because we persevere after spending many hours in the pool only to shave off tenths of a second.  I have spent many hours training and perfecting and my goals are all being realized.  I have attended age group zone meets, summer sectional meets, junior national meets and high school state meets, placing as a team and individually at states for two years.  My GPA of 3.5 is improving every semester with a full schedule of honors and AP courses scheduled for my senior year.
