Personal Statement

Hi my name is Robert Spekis. I will be a 2019 graduate at Belle Vernon Area High School and my primary event is breaststroke along with IM. My goals for college include a school that is both focused on academics and athletics. I want to attend a school that will cater to my choice of major and make me a well rounded individual. I am different from other recruits because I give it it my all in the pool and in the classroom. In addition to this, I like challenging myself. Without a challenge you can never really know how far you can go. I also like criticism, it helps me see things that I sometimes cannot see myself. The main difference between myself and other recruits is my drive. I set my mind to something and I do my all to achieve it.
