What makes me a good fit for your team? I am a team player I want my teammates to succeed and push them to do so. I started swimming at age 9 and began to like it very fast. I am good friends with almost all of my teammates we go out and have meals together as well as text a lot. I want to become the best athlete I can be and have the best support squad around me.
Over my 8th, 9th, and 10th-grade year I have battled with my mental health... I didn't know which way was forward and I felt so alone. My swim team helped me get my mind off everything have fun and start the healing process. I am still battling thoughts today although I have come a long way and I never gave up. I am a strong believer in changing the stigma around mental health and am trying my best to support those who need it the most as you never know what somebody else is going through.
